In July 2014, we were awarded a certificate of merit for our participation in the Langworthy in Bloom competition. We hope to improve upon this result in the coming year.
We had a very successful season last year, where we were able to grow some wonderful fresh produce. We grew delicious tomatoes in addition to runner beans and some rather unusual shaped carrots.
What to expect in 2015
Our gardening project this year is to further develop our vegetable patch to go with our already established pray and refection area.
This coming March, we plan to sow our first crop of potatoes followed by fruit canes later in the season. We will also continue to maintain our prayer and reflection area, and look for ways to attract more wildlife into our garden.
