The children are having an amazing time at Robinwood - have a look at some of the different activities they have been participating in.

Over the last few weeks we have been learning all about the process of Metamorphosis -  we have looked at the life cycle of caterpillars when they transform into butterflies - What an amazing process!!

Today we took part in a debate with people from the University. We discussed how we need to think about the way we use our voices and the arguments that we make. It was great fun and we learnt a lot!

As part of our home learning topic, The World, each child chose a country and had to research and complete a project all about this. We then decided that it would be a good idea for us to make some food from different cultures and have a food tasting session. The children were really excited about this and got to taste some very delicious foods. Thank you to all parents!

This morning we had an open morning where all parents were welcome to attend and join in with the activities based on e-safety and being safe when using computers.  We looked at different logos from different apps and tried to identify them and figure out their use and the age that is proposed that you can use them. This was an eye opening activity for everyone who was here. The children were very well behaved and the answers and opinions that they gave were excellent. Well done!

Today we had a visit from Mrs Teesdale, from All Hallows High School. We talked about our last visit to the High School and the skills that we had used while we were there. We then talked in more detail about the different enterprise skills that we need to be able to succeed in life: team work, communication, independency, problem solving, self belief and how to be resilient. We split into groups and had to consider a profession - we had to decide what skills were being used by different individuals in their line of work. We then reflected on ourselves and the skills that we are good at and equally the skills that we need to improve on. It was a great session.

The children started off the month of May this morning with an incredible assembly! They told us all about Mary and about her life, about good times and bad times and the singing was amazing - very powerful! I am very proud of you all.
