We have had a very busy start to the term in year 6!
We were visited by Mr. B this week who helped us to explore and learn about Victorian inventions. We took photos using a camera lens that was over 130 years old! We also created our own music using a real Victorian music box. Overall, it was a really fun day and we have learnt so much that will help us with the rest of our topic.
We also presented the first assembly of the year! Scary! We managed to pull everything together in less than one day. Mr Bale and Mr Kilkenny thought we did an amazing job. We talked to the other children, teachers and parents about the importance of British Values in our society and why we should ensure that we live our lives following those values.
We hope you liked our performance of 'The British' by Benjamin Zephaniah, too!
