Huge thank you to Mr Birchall who came into school yesterday to carry out a World War II day with the children. They all thoroughly enjoyed the day that included looking at artefacts, acting out the timeline of the war, pumping water from buckets to put out fake fire and more. We all had a great day and thanks for bringing your enthusiasm to our school.
On Wednesday 24th May, it was great to see so many parents pop into Year 6 to take party in the ESafety lesson. I hope you found the lesson beneficial and that your children know how to tackle issues of cyberbullying if it does occur in the future. I have also included images of ‘Pizza Day’. Enjoy!
Huge congratulations to all the children in Year 6 who have just finished their SATs. You have all worked incredibly hard and now you can well and truly enjoy your summer. We also hope you enjoy your last few months at school and are all looking forward to the challenges of High School. Well done every one!
Great to see Year 6 carrying out their field research in the school grounds yesterday. They found lots of many different plants from Lombardy Poplar tree to Hawthorn bushes and the fourteen legged woodlouse and an amazing large female garden spider. When we got back to class they created some great sketches and classified their findings.
