Growth Mindset
At Holy Family all children are encouraged to use their 'growth mindset', rather than a 'fixed mindset'. We promote resilience (one of our Holy Family 5 values) and teach the children how to think optimistically and full of self-belief.
We have worked closely with the 'Grow Your Mindset' company to train our staff in delivering high quality teaching across our curriculum. The team also came into school to deliver an assembly, and workshops with each class to further develop what having a 'growth mindset' truly is. We even were able to spend time inside a giant brain!
